Salsa Dancing!
Here’s the scoop: James and I have been taking salsa lessons for the past few weeks, and now that we’ve learned awesome fun routine, we’re entering a competition with the rest of our class! We’d love you all to come see us, cheer us on, and dance with us afterwards! The competition starts at 9:30pm.

Afterwards there will be much dancing into the night (for which there will probably be a cover charge)! I couldn’t find the price, but it’s usually between 5-10 dollars. 21 and over. Prayers and Praises 10/2
Jeremy-Praise for Demetrius’ presence in our group. Prayer for God’s protection against spiritual attacks that he’s been struggling with ever since he’s stepped into leadership of this group. Prayer that he will not listen to the Devil’s lies and that he will rely on God for his strength.
Damien-Prayer for him as he seeks humility.
Mark-Praise for how far he and Jolene have come in their path towards their marriage. Prayer that Mark will share authentically when he and Jolene meet with a pastor and prayer that Jesus will give them both the grace to work through their tough spots together.
Elise-Praise for being able to see herself in the light of the fruits of the Spirit.
Heather-Praise for the successful meeting and the great time she had in Atlanta. Prayer because the meeting set her back and she needs to prepare for two speaking engagements. Prayer for guidance as to how she should lead the women she’ll speak to.
Erik-Praise for a new community group. :)
Katie M-Prayer for her trip to Colorado and for words of love and truth for her Christian friend who is almost engaged to a non-Christian.
Katie P-Prayer for Christian fellowship in her daily life.
James-Prayer that he will draw closer to God and that the distance he has been feeling will diminish.
