Communications Help Needed for Jeremy’s Group

I know you all have been envious about my job managing the blog.  Sitting there, wishing for that glorious access to posting priveleges, being the one at the forefront to announce all the cool things we’re getting involved with!  Well, here’s your chance.

Since we are replicating, there will be a new need for someone to manage communications with the group that Jeremy will be leading.  This is a great way to serve and it can be done from any computer with internet access.  Often, the only thing you do is post the food list for the week and prayers and praises up onto the website.  The info gets emailed out to everyone.  You’d keep track of getting new people enrolled onto our blog, and just inform the group of any group events.  The total time commitment is usually less than one hour a week, and even if you missed a week, it is still pretty doable.

I will happily train you in this if this is something you think you would like to do to help out with group.  It’s fun because it gives you a chance to interact a bit more with everyone, too. :)

Let me know, (206) 525-7222 or email me, if you would like to help with this.

The Scarf Saga-A Ministry that Changes Girl’s Lives in India

Cambria has been working on a new ministry where she’s selling beautiful pashmina scarves and donating 100% of proceeds towards helping uneducated young girls and widows in India who are in desperate need of supporting themselves or raising money for a dowry (the traditional amount of money given with a bride in marriage). She’s doing some amazing things, and I encourage you to check out her project or even see about buying a scarf or two ($20 bucks a piece–an absolute bargain for pashmina or cashmere scarf) to help it along. You can visit her description of the project here and leave her a note that you’d like to buy some.)
